Our real estate investment strategy provides a differentiated access point to light industrial and concentrated logistics assets. We target core-plus and value-add properties through a well-positioned portfolio in strategic Western and Central Europe locations near major transportation hubs and key distribution centres. Our acquisitions are set to capture yield compression and rental growth driven by market-to-market opportunities in the next 4-5 years.

In the area of infrastructure we focus on forward-looking, interim distributions driven investment strategy, tailored for institutional-grade investors. We emphasise a comprehensive view of the energy infrastructure landscape. Broadly sourcing diversified opportunities in Central and Western European countries with a strong credit rating. The strategy targets growth in the renewables sector through balancing of solar photovoltaic, onshore wind energy, cutting-edge storage solutions and flexible generation technologies.

  • FEBRUARY Mr. Jiří Król, an investment expert and manager with many years of experience in international investment institutions, became a member of the Supervisory Board of the investment fund ARETE INDUSTRIAL
  • MARCH Leading Czech logistics and technology company Zásilkovna took over the new premises in ARETE Park Plzeň Borská pole with an area of approx. 2,000 m2
  • MAY We completed the construction of a new hall in ARETE Park Zdice, where the global logistics company Kuehne+Nagel opened a cross-dock of more than 7,200 m2
  • AUGUST The last unit of ARETE Park Valašské Meziříčí has been completed and handed over to the tenant, the global logistics company DB Schenker. The space of over 4,200 m2 aspires to the international BREEAM® Excellent sustainability certification
  • SEPTEMBER We completed the acquisition of a major logistics park in western Poland and added ARETE Park Zgorzelec to the ARETE INDUSTRIAL fund portfolio - a class A logistics facility with a BREEAM Excellent certification, offering a total leasable area of approximately 65,000 m2 and a strategic location on the Polish-German border

  • FEBRUARY We started the construction of the modern logistics hall at ARETE Park Rokycany II. Duvenbeck will be the tenant
  • MARCH The construction of a new hall within the industrial park ARETE Park Rokycany I was completed. The tenant is Raben
  • APRIL We completed the acquisition of a new modern industrial hall near Milovice in Central Bohemia
  • MAY We have completed the new hall within ARETE Park Plzeň, Borská Pole. GIENGER becomes the lessee

  • APRIL We completed the acquisition of the production site in Beluša, Slovakia - the tenant is Booster

  • JULY Our third fund once again brings our investors the highest annual return, the appreciation for 12 months as of 31/03/2022 reached 34.5%

  • JANUARY Industrial property of company HENGSTLER new in portfolio of our third fund. The third fund of the ARETE Group acquired a modern, highly specialized production facility with research and development center and with the potential for further development in Kežmarok, Slovakia. The investment exceeded EUR 10 million.
  • MARCH One of the largest real estate transaction completed: ARETE INVEST CEE II portfolio for 3 billion already in the hands of Cromwell!
  • MARCH ARETE receives a prestigeous price, CIJ Awards - Best Asset Management Fund
  • MARCH ARETE receives a prestigeous price, CIJ Awards – Best Warehouse Development > 10.000 m2
  • JULY The third fund of the ARETE group has secured bank financing from the Raiffeisen group.
  • JULY According to the evaluation of Hospodářské noviny as of 31 December 2020, the ARETE INVEST Subfund CEE II has been bringing its investors the highest appreciation for a long time - it has the highest average annual return for the entire period of the fund's existence (17,66%).
  • AUGUST The third fund of the ARETE group has completed the acquisition of a production and storage facility near Beroun, 20 km from Prague. This is the acquisition of a complex used for the production and storage of the Czech company Hronovský s.r.o.. The financial volume of the transaction exceeded almost EUR 10 million.
  • SEPTEMBER As part of the annual European Best of the HOF Awards 2021 the ARETE Group won the very prestigious Best Asset Management Company category.
  • OCTOBER The third fund of the ARETE Group has completed one of its key acquisitions this year - a production and storage facility in the Plzeň - Borská pole industrial zone. ARETE plans to invest almost EUR 20 million in the new park.
  • NOVEMBER PARTNERS Fond realitných investícií from the management company PARTNERS ASSET MANAGEMENT has decided to invest a significant part of its fund capital in the third fund of the ARETE group.
  • DECEMBER Just before the end of the year , the third fund of ARETE group completed the acquisition of the production area in Vráble, Slovakia, which is leased by Nanogate Slovakia, s.r.o.

  • APRIL The ARETE INVEST CEE II sub-fund reigns supreme in the overall long-term statistics - it has the highest average annual return throughout the fund's existence (20.55 %)
  • JUNE The notification process has been completed for ARETE INDUSTRIAL in Slovakia, Germany and Austria. It can thus be actively offered to investors in these countries
  • SEPTEMBER New production halls in Uherské Hradiště and Košice for international tenants approved, investments reached almost EUR 20 million
  • DECEMBER ARETE Group sells Cromwell European Real Estate portfolio for €113.2 million. The companies have signed a contract, the transaction should be completed in the first quarter of next year.

  • JANUARY ARETE INVEST CEE II proactively launches its business in Slovakia, investment in the purchase of a company owning industrial premises in Žilina
  • MARCH The purchase of two companies that own A-class premises in Nové Mesto nad Váhom
  • MAY We are one of the first within the territory of the Czech Republic to successfully start closing the economic and legal issues of the ARETE INVEST CEE sub-fund (while achieving the appreciation of investors´ funds in excess of 39% p.a. for the period of 26 months of the active portfolio administration of the sub-fund ARETE INVEST CEE)
  • JUNE ARETE INVEST received Special award for innovation and transparency on Czech investment market from associaton Czech Top 100 tracking the most significant and successful companies in Czech republic every year

2016

  • FEBRUARY With the approval of the Czech National Bank, ARETE INVEST establishes already the second investment sub-fund ARETE INVEST CEE II
  • APRIL The purchase of the first three companies owning industrial real estate (Uherské Hradiště, 2x Lovosice) for this second sub-fund. The first financed company owned by the investment fund in the structure of SICAV within the UniCredit Bank Group within the territory of the Czech Republic
  • JULY The purchase of two more companies owning industrial real estate in Písek for the portfolio of ARETE INVEST CEE II
  • SEPTEMBER The successful sale of the residential portfolio owned by the first sub-fund ARETE INVEST CEE to an investment fund with a foreign banking structure

  • JANUARY The purchase of a residential portfolio for the sub-fund ARETE INVEST CEE with a size of about 300 housing units, opening the active administration of assets and their continuous appreciation. Procuring financing the a sub-fund by a bank (the first company financed within the territory of the Czech Republic owned by an investment sub-fund in the structure of SICAV; in cooperation with the Raiffeisenbank Group)

2014

  • JULY ARETE INVEST registered on the Czech National Bank list of investment funds
  • OCTOBER Establishment of fund for qualified investors ARETE INVEST
  • DECEMBER With the approval of the Czech National Bank, ARETE INVEST creates the company´s first sub-fund – ARETE INVEST CEE (as one of the very first ones within the structure of the new legal regulations of SICAV within the territory of the Czech Republic)

WE ARE GROWING AND EVOLVING

The AUM of the currently open fund ARETE III is EUR 302 million, with a target volume of EUR 500 million. Its portfolio includes 12 parks, with 20 creditworthy tenants, 266 thousand m2 of leasable space and space under construction. We build our logistics and industrial parks to a high technological and environmental standard. We are one of the first so called "light green" real estate funds according to the European SFDR directive, in line with our ESG strategy. Our plans for the future are no different. In addition to growing our portfolio and fund value, we plan to expand our activities to include new funds.
